LIM ENG CHONG (MRICS, MISM) is the President of the Henry Butcher Malaysia Group. He holds a Bachelor degree in Estate Management from the National University of Singapore, and an MBA from the University of Dubuque, U.S.A. He is a registered valuer and estate agent, and a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
His extensive experience since 1977 includes valuation of properties, plant and machineries, agency sales, investment and brokerage, property and project management as well as research and development consultancy for mega projects. Mr. Lim also has vast experience in the development business, from land acquisition to project management to project marketing. He is very active in the professional advancement of the real estate industry, having served in FIABCI Malaysia (FIABCI is an international real estate federation), Malaysia Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) and Private Valuers’ Association (PEPS).
Mr. Lim founded the Henry Butcher Malaysia with Mr. Long Tian Chek in 1987; and together they nurtured the company from an office of 4 staff to a national network of 24 offices with over 400 personnel. Beside overseeing the overall operations of Henry Butcher Malaysia, Mr. Lim is also involved in niche residential developments of terraced and bungalow houses. |
