SR CHAI CHEON NYIAP is the Director of Henry Butcher Malaysia (Miri) Sdn Bhd.

He is:

• an Elected Member of the RICS (Royal Institution Chartered Surveyors)
• an Elected Member of RISM (Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia)
• an Elected Registered Valuer & Estate Agent with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP)

Prior to joining the Group, he was with the District Valuers and the Valuation Officer of Merton in London. He was also an Assistant Valuer in Hasmi Samat & Associates Sdn Bhd and as a Director of ARRA Hartanah & Associates Sdn Bhd in Brunei.

His valuation experience encompasses agricultural, residential, industrial and commercial properties for securing bank facilities, taxation (Real Property Gains Tax), corporate mergers & acquisition, insurance valuation, oil palm plantation, submissions to the Securities Commission, stock exchange listing purposes, and marketing of residential, agricultural, industrial and commercial properties.

He holds a Certificate in Architecture and a Bachelor (Honours) Degree in Estate Management.
