SHAWN ONG is the Executive Director of Henry Butcher Malaysia (Penang) Sdn Bhd.

He has 28 years experience providing real estate professional services and is actively involved in the firm's services particularly valuation, research, consultancy and agency.

He started his career in 1995 as a valuation assistant with an international firm where he undertook valuation of various types of properties such as office buildings, hotels, shopping centres, industrial properties, plantations, townships, large tracks of development land etc. He was made the Resident Manager in 2006 in charge of the Penang office principally responsible for all the northern region.

In November 2008, he joined Henry Butcher Malaysia Penang as Head of Assets Valuation and was involved in corporate real estate valuation, feasibility studies, real estate consultancy services and valuation for companies seeking listing in Bursa Malaysia. He has also advised major public & private companies, MNCs, developers and industrialists based in Malaysia, Singapore etc.
